8 Months

Sawyer is 8 months old! I cannot believe how time flies! He's got the army crawl down, with a few good crawls at a time here and there. He's kind of stubborn when it comes to crawling. He wants to walk and nothing else. He'll stand up for a few seconds at a time by himself before he wants some assistance. His new favorite toy is a ball. He will sit and bounce the ball back and forth with you. Sawyer loves watching Sesame Street in the mornings; particularly Elmo's World :) He now has 3 teeth. One on the top just poked through a few days ago. Teething is no fun at all with this little one. He gets congested followed by a runny nose that takes forever to go away. These first two pictures show him watching TV in our bed while not feeling so well.

7 Months

He loves these rice rusks! Probably because he can feed himself this way. It's so adorable to see him chew on these... I know, I'm easily amused.

Walks are becoming routine on warm days! He normally falls asleep, but we like to think he enjoys them as much as we do.

He can be quite the giggle box at times, and we LOVE it!

I thought I had a clever idea. Making a little house out of a cardboard box for the boys to play in. We have plenty of boxes around since we just moved again, so it's a cheap toy! Well, it would have been free if I hadn't decided to try and pretty it up :) Anyway, it's turned into a peek-a-boo box!

New this month, BABY FOOD! I love getting to feed him new things! He's a pretty big fan too!

Also new this month, TEETH! After a few long months of teething, his bottom two front teeth have finally shown themselves! I haven't been able to get a good picture of them yet, but will post one once I do!

We still look at him every once in a while and can't believe that he's ours. I hope we never lose that feeling. We are blessed to have him in our lives. He is a happy and healthy baby. Life is great!

6 Months

Well, Sawyer survived his first blizzard this past month!

Of course we had to experience it for ourselves.... just to say we did it.

Sawyer is so lucky to have a boy cousin nearby! Slade's side of the family was no help in that department this past year. All girls!

Sawyer's favorite toy is his walker. He's everywhere in it! It's wonderful that he can go the places he wants to go now.
